Estate Ring Diamond Sapphires English Size 6 Ring Cluster Halo 9kt Gold 1940s

This is an English estate hand set Diamond and Sapphire cluster ring containing 8 genuine dark blue Sapphires now being called black Sapphires, and 1 genuine full cut Diamond.

The ring is a halo or flower form cluster cross over design consisting of a ring of 8 round dark blue Sapphires surrounding a central round Diamond, all hand set in a raised setting.

The ring is 9kt gold and bears English hallmarks for London for the maker but we can't read them.

The top of the ring is over .25 inch in diameter.

The Diamond is 1/8 of a carat or .13 points, and each of the Sapphires is 2 points. The ring has a total carat weight of just over 1/4 carat.

The ring was made in the 1940-1950s. The elegant ring is in very good +++ used vintage condition, with some mild tip wear.

The ring is size 6 but could be easily sized by any jeweler.

Colored stones are also fabulous as wedding rings or engagement rings, and this is so sweet!
