Fancy Kniferest Pair English Silver Plate Classical Daisy Ends Leaves 1890s Victorian
This is a fabulous pair antique English knife rest I brought back from England recently.
The silver plated knife rests or cutlery holders were made in the 1890-1910 and measures 1.5 inch high by 4 inches long.
Each knife rest has a daisy at each end, a fluted classical column bar and leaves on the outside of the ends.
The knife rests are in excellent used vintage condition. I'm thrilled because when I found it at a weekly antiques market in Gloucester, England they were black with tarnish but polished up better than anticipated. I love them!
And a classy way to keep the tablecloth clean.
