This is a lovely little sterling silver English hallmarked snuff box or pill box from the late Victorian era.
The marks are for Birmingham 1898 and the manufacturer A&LLd or Adie & Lovekin. The lid and bottom have matching hallmarks.
The box has a beautiful repousse art nouveau floral design on the top and oval in shape.
The sterling snuff box measures 1.5 inches long by 1 inch wide by .5 inch high and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with a tight hinge and secure closure.
