Horse Brass England Rooster Bugle Pub Brass Souvenir 1930s Tourist Brass Harness Ornament
This is a horse brass or pub brass featuring a rooster, cockerel or cock in a circle and is a souvenir tourist brass made in England in the 1930s.
The harness ornament or pub brass is in very good ++ used vintage condition but there are a lot of impurities in the brass, but is a fun and unusual design and very decorative.
Horse brasses were developed in the 17th century to decorate and identify draft horses and are very collectible. In England you see them decorating the beams in pubs or hung by the fireplace in homes, or used as Christmas tree ornaments.
