This is a harness ornament brass measures 3.75 inches high by 2.75 inches wide and was made in England in the 1920s and is copied from a Victorian brass.

Horse brasses were developed in the 17th century to decorate and identify draft horses and are very collectible. In England you see them decorating the beams in pubs or hung by the fireplace in homes.
