This is a medal commemorating the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the parents of Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1937.

On the reverse of the medal are other important dates leading up to the coronation.

The gold washed medal measures overall 2.75 inches long and the medal itself is 1.25 inches in diameter.

The coronation souvenir medal is in very good +++ used vintage condition in original patina but the pin and ribbon but they have been replaced.
