This is an embossed luncheon plate with a lithograph of a pair of Otters in color made by Royal Crownford, a division of Weatherby, England in the 1940s.
The lunch plate is 8 inches in diameter with an embossed wheat border on an ironstone plate with gold trim. The style is even called White Wheat.
The plate is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear.
An unusual subject but fun for a nature lover or a lover of widlife.
