SKU: 9255-027
This is a large mug or tankard in purple and copper luster with an engraving from the 18th century depicting the completion of Iron Bridge in 1779 near Sunderland, England.
The tankard was made by Gray's, England in the 1930s and is a reproduction of a famous piece of Sunderland luster.
The detail is wonderful.
The tankard measures 5 inches high by 3.5 inches in diameter at top and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear and only some mild crazing which is normal for this material.
So decorative, historic and attractive! And very hard to find!
