This is a wonderful Royal Doulton, England humidor or tobacco jar with original lid made at the Doulton, Lambeth works in 1901-1907 during the Edwardian era in the Silicon line of stoneware with applied rosettes and aqua design in the pattern X-5387.

The pattern was used with different color combinations from 1895-1902 but the Royal Doulton mark with the Royal added only started in 1901 after recognition from Queen Victoria.

The tobacco jar or humidor measures 5.5 inches high by 4.5 in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with only one minor part of one rosette missing, which is pictured.

A wonderful piece of tobacciana, Silicon Ware and Royal Doulton stoneware that is very decorative and collectible.
