This is a Shelley China, England Crested China or Crested Ware Roman Urn made 1910-1916.
The little bone china souvenir urn or vase measures 2.5 inches high by 2 inches in diameter and has the hand colored enamel on transfer crest for Maidenhead, a town to the north west of London.
On the bottom is the inscription Model Of A Very Rare Roman Urn Found Near Chester Now In The Possession Of J.W. Salt Esq.
The little Crested Ware urn is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks but there is wear to the gold trim at the mouth of the urn. Cool!
