Coronation Mug Shelley 1911 King George V Color Portraits Lion Back
This is a wonderful antique porcelain mug manufactured by Shelley China Late Foley, England in 1911 for the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary, grandparents of the present Queen Elizabeth II of England.
The mug measures 3 inches high by 3 in diameter and has wonderful graphics. The back is the great lion, shield and coronation dates and a crown, wreath horn and banner inside.
There are no cracks or restorations,a very little gold wear and I would call it very good ++ condition. There is a narrow scratch by Queen Mary's head which does not affect her face. A
wonderfully collectible may to drink your tea, coffee or cocoa!
