This is a Shelley China, England bone china tea pot or teapot in the Gainsborough shape and Herons or Storks pattern 12778 with brown birds and yellow band on white with orange trim.
The teapot was made only between 1938 and 1946.
The bone china teapot measures 6.5 inches high by 7.5 inches long by 5 in diameter and is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Lovely!
