Silver Jubilee 1977 Blue Jasperware Square Wedgwood Lidded Box Queen Elizabeth II
This is a Wedgwood, England dark blue jasper or jasperware lidded square box made in 1977 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II 1952-3.
The Royal Blue jasper lidded box has a white applied bas relief profile of Queen Elizabeth II with a wreath surround and measures 2 inches high by 4 in square.
The commemorative jasperware box is in near excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear and very collectible. The is one portion of an applied leaf missing on the corned of the base from the border, that's the only flaw.
A great piece of history, and a great addition to your, royal memorabilia or Wedgwood collection, or for a great accent for any room. Really lovely.
