Tea Caddy Wooden Chrome Barrel England Art Deco 1950s Tea Canister

This is an treen or wood tea caddy or tea canister with a porcelain liner that was made 1920-1930s in England and is of blond wood with a chrome lid, fitting and bale and chrome letters TEA on the front.

 The wood tea caddy measures 6.5 inches high without handle by 6 inches in diameter. There is some wear to the varnish of the barrel and some age pitting to the chrome lid, but the tea caddy really in very good +++ used vintage condition.

 These wooden barrel shaped tea caddies or tea canisters have been popular in England for years and I found it in England at an antique fair in Cheltenham. They are very difficult to find nowadays.
