Teapot Cottageware English Thatched Vintage Price Kensington 1950s Kitsch
This is a wonderfully decorative ceramic teapot shaped like an English thatched cottage made by Price Kensington, England in the 1950-1960s.
The design is called Cottage Ware or Cottageware and is very collectible.
The teapot is hand painted and measures 6 inches high by 9 inches high by 4.5 wide.
The mark is impressed under glaze Made In England P&K and Ye Olde Cottage and there is an ink stamp as well which is probably an artist's initials, because each of these cottageware pieces is hand painted.
The teapot is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips or cracks and just a bit or crazing which is normal with PK cottageware. A very fun and collectible piece.
