This is a set of 2 plates, pin dishes or sweet dishes with applied white jasper profiles of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip which were made by Wedgwood, England in 1977 to commemorate the silver Jubilee of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II 1952-1977 and are in their original boxes.
The very pretty dark blue jasper or jasperware color is called Royal Blue and was developed for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
Each small plate measures 4.5 inches in diameter and is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
A great piece of history, and in the original boxes, gift ready.
