This is a antique colored lithograph print of Westminster Abbey and St. Margaret's Church, London brought back from England in the 1970s and subsequently mounted and framed.
The print is marked Published January 1793 and was originally a page from a book.
The print image size is 6.5 inches by 4 inches, the overall framed size is 9.75 inches by 7.75 inches and the antique framed print has a glass front with a black laquered carved and gilded frame. The backing is tagboard.
There is a toothed metal toothed hanger on the back which is unattractively attached with thumb tacks.
.Aside from a few scuffs on the wood frame, the entire piece is in very good +++ used vintage condition. There is a bit of general age discoloring but no foxing. There are light strikes in the photo caused by the windows during the time it was photographed.
A very decorative as well as being a great historical depiction of a famous London landmark.
