Walking Ware Royal Wedding Mug Diana Charles Carlton Ware 1981 Rare
This is a rare Walking Ware mug made by Carlton Ware, England to commemorate the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, or Princess Diana in 1981.
The ceramic mug features the famous Carlton Ware shoes and socks, which in this case are black shoes and plaid socks.
The mug has a 3 dimensional red rose attached and the legs are in a bowing position. There is a dedication on the back.
The mark is the Carlton Ware Lustre mark, which means it was made at the time of the wedding, as it changed right after that.
The mug measures 4.5 inches high by 3.25 in diameter and is in excellent used vintage condition.
The walking ware mug is the slightest bit tippy on it's feet, which is often the case with the bowing Walking Ware mugs.
I LOVE it!
They are extremely difficult to find...a real royal memorabilia treasure!
