Mug Laura Knight Signed George VI Coronation Circus 1937 Royal Commemorative
This is a commemorative coronation mug for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth of England made in 1937 and signed by Dame Laura Knight.
This design for the porcelain mug is called the circus design because there is an elephant in the design and has a figural handle which looks like a lion or camel? head to me.
The colors are bold and beautiful.
The mug is 3.5 inches high and is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.
A very collectible and unusual mug.
