King George V Mug England Silver Jubilee Queen Mary 1935 Royal Souvenir
This is a mug manufactured by Taylor and Kent, Staffordshire England in 1935 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary who were the grandparents of Queen Elizabeth II.
The sepia portraits are surrounded by color flags, shields, mottos and elements of the royal coat of arms.
The graphics are some of the best I have seen.
The mug measures 3.25 inches high by 3 in diameter.
The mug originally had gold trim but that is pretty well worn. There are no chips, cracks or restorations and is is a great collectible item of British Royal memorabilia.
